This is a fact. If the exclusive franchising proposal is passed, many of us, the local sanitation companies, will end up closing our doors. So why not look at alternatives that will do a better job of reaching the projected goals as well as support local hard working business owners and their employees?

In any case, we believe that the Commission should weigh all other alternatives before choosing an option that will close local businesses.

We Believe Our Industry Has Been Misrepresented

One Commissioner recently wrote that our industry is a "cutthroat competition that discourages recycling." Another used the phrase “a race to the bottom.” Nothing could be further from the truth. We work hard to run successful, ethical businesses. And we work hard to provide good service to our clients — we respond to their calls, we give them fair prices (lower than the ACC governments fees, by the way) and every one of us offers recycling service to our customers.
